About the EB-5 Visa Classification

USCIS administers the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, created by Congress in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. Under a program first enacted as a pilot in 1992 and regularly reauthorized since then, investors may also qualify for EB-5 classification by investing through regional centers designated by USCIS based on proposals for promoting economic growth.

EB-5 Visa Advantages for Foreign Investors

  • No visa sponsor requirements
  • No requirement in investor's age, education, English language, background at all
  • One of the fastest methods to gain permanent residency in the United States for the investor, his/her spouse, and unmarried children under 21 years of age
  • No day to day management of EB-5 investment, if investing in the Regional Center Program, may free up time so that you can pursue your own business interests.
  • In the event of a political change/significant event in the investor’s home country, he/she and family can immediately gain entry to the United States without delay
